Lead acid batterys should not be left in an uncharged state. It’s best to keep them charged up.
There’s some good info on the Yuasa Website if you need an explaination:

Good question!
Ok, lead acid batteries have no memory effect, so no worries there
A lead acid battery has a limited amount of cycles in it (these are SLA or sealed lead acid batteries), they will last about 3,000 to 4,000 cycles, depending on their quality.
It is not recommended to run them totally dead, but you can use them until they are not pushing you down the road anymore, then recharge them. Never leave the batteries discharged, it will ruin them.
First 10 cycles will be less range than after that, so you will have to run them down this many times before they will hold to full capacity.
Have fun, save fuel, and be cool!

Lead Acid ebike batteries should be charged every opportunity you get.
You should be using a “smart” charger that manages the charge automatically. Soneil is the best.. google it.
Never discharge lead batteries more than 50%.
you will be lucky to get 500 charges out of your batteries.
There is no memory effect. Keep the battery out of extremes of heat and cold, it likes 50F-88F.
first of all you have to understand the battery in your electric bike is different type of battery than a regular battery
your battery is a slow discharge battery, it discharges at a slow rate, it must be charged with an scr controlled pulse type charger,if you charge it at high amps with a car charger you will ruin that battery
only charge it when it needs charged, if you have a battery gage charge it when the battery gage reaches 20%
