I’ve been accused of purchasing many “useless gadgets” in my time. This bike is NOT one of those.

I am by no means a power cyclist, but I do try to ride my bicycle any time I can to avoid wasting gasoline on errands that could be otherwise done on my bike. The problem is that I live uphill from town. Thus getting to town is always easy. Getting back home is always a challenge for me. In the past I have frequently decided on taking the car rather than the bike just because I didn’t want to have to deal with the home stretch. Not any longer. I keep the bike in pedal assist, but hit the throttle near the end of the ride to help me get up that last nasty incline.

For me, this has been one of the most fun and useful purchases I’ve made in a long time!

The price initially attracted me but I was dissapointed when it arrived. It is lower quality and less powerful than that Men’s version of the same model.

    Pros:
    - Reasonable price
    - Lithium battery technology
    - Decent rims (odd compared to the low quality of the rest of the components)
    - Good alum. frame with decent welds

    Cons:
    - Very low quality/odd mix and match of components
    - Brakes are a joke and don’t stop bike well, rear derailleur is the lowest quality Shimano makes (Toys R Us quality)
    - Garbage hubs, bent sprocket on both sides (I can actually see the rear sprockets wobble)
    - Weak Electric motor makes grinding nosie that my other similar priced electric bike doesnt
    - Subpar electronics, battery cuts out when inclining on a moderate hill

I would have returned it, but my Mom said its fine because she just cruises around the block. I would not trust this bike on a long trip. And I expect it will be junk in less than 2 years. Its obvious the manufacture focused on a pricepoint and max profit instead of making a solid bike.

I’ve had it for a couple months and this bike is great. It eliminates hills and I never sweat. I tested how far it can go without any peddling on flat ground, 15 miles. Which is really impressive and better then most if not all electric scooters. If I pedal sometimes along with using the throttle I can get over 20 miles.my weight is 190. I’ve rode inthe rain and it was fine, even though it said not to. The speed it goes is about as fast as other normal bikes, I pass some people on bikes and also get passed. I use it on the streets of nyc.

The only con is you have to take the seat off using quick release to slide the battery out. Its not a big pain but it would be nice if you didn’t have to.
