There are three major ways you will see an electric motor attached to a bicycle:
In the first instance the motor rests over the back wheel and powers the wheel by friction
In the second way one wheel is replaced with a different hub. These are hub motors.
Last is connecting to the crank set. Here is a visible method:

    –each manufacturer is making what they consider a safe product
    do you not believe that:?
    why?

    that pedal go thing costs $ 2000
    you could get SUCH a good road bike for that

    batteries will break your heart
    slow
    short range
    short life
    heavy
    and or expensive
